March 13, 2014, Hamiota, Man. – A major part of a big feedlot business in western Manitoba has been destroyed by fire.

The blaze broke out overnight at Hamiota Feedlot Ltd., just outside the town of Hamiota.

RCMP say a building that housed an office and several bays of equipment was engulfed in flames by the time firefighters arrived, but no one was hurt.

There is no damage estimate and the provincial fire commissioner's office will investigate the cause of the blaze.
