Fire forces evacuation of hospital

Aug. 21, 2015, Halifax - Staff evacuated more than 40 mental health patients from a Halifax hospital Wednesday night after a fire broke out on seventh floor. The fire began in a patient’s room on the seventh floor of the Abbie J. Lane building around 7:20 p.m., a Nova Scotia Health Authority spokesman said. The Chronicle Herald reports. | READ MORE
