Firefighters honoured in memorial, parade
Oct. 15, 2012, Kitchener, Ont. - Despite the frost, local firefighters were out on the streets early
Saturday morning setting up public demonstrations to promote fire
awareness. The demonstrations were part of the annual Firefighter Family Funfest
which was followed by a Fallen Fire Fighter’s Memorial service at Civic
Centre Park. The Kitchener-Waterloo Record reports.
