Jan. 9, 2024, Canada – Effective Jan. 8, the Firehall Forum has closed.
For years, Firehall.com has been a long-standing hub for members of the Canadian fire service — an online space for discussions, information exchange and camaraderie. Firehall Forum has long served as an important source of hiring information for the fire service.
The decision to cease the forum’s operation is due to a shifting resource focus to more events (both virtual and in person) and multi-media content. Channelling resources and energy into these diverse platforms will also allow us to best serve as an information hub for the Canadian Fire community.
Members and supporters of the Fire Fighting in Canada community are encouraged to ensure their subscription to our magazine, eNewsletters and other eProducts are current, that firefightingincanada.com is bookmarked in their favourite browser, and stay connected through our social media channels. Mark your calendar for upcoming events, which will provide a dynamic and engaging platform for dialogue and collaboration, such as our Security Police Fire Career Expos (three in 2024) and the Canadian Wildfire Conference.
