Foul play not suspected in fatal trailer fire

Feb. 21, 2013, Markstay-Warren, Ont. – Police say they do not immediately suspect foul play after a body was found by fire crews battling a trailer home fire east of Sudbury, Ont.

Police say firefighters arrived on the scene around 9 p.m. last night in the Municipality of Markstay-Warren.

They say a single body was discovered as fire crews fought the blaze.

The identity of the body is not yet known.

Provincial police Const. Shawn Fougere says the investigation is still early going, but that foul play is not believed to be a factor in the incident.

The Ontario Fire Marshal and provincial police from nearby Noelville are involved in the investigation.
