Girls test their firefighting mettle at camp

August 18, 2010, Ottawa - Twenty-four Ottawa girls aged 15- to 19-years-old are getting a crash course in what it's like to be a firefighter this week as campers at Camp FFIT (female firefighters in training), a program established by the Ottawa Fire Service and the Fire Service Women of Ontario to provide girls with a chance to learn the tools of the trade.
