Halifax changes ranking system to reflect amalgamation

Feb. 26, 2014, Halifax – A re-ranking of the top positions in Halifax to better reflect the fire service after the municipality's amalgamation has about 40 volunteer fire chiefs becoming station chiefs. The Chronicle Herald reports.
