Dec. 10, 2013, Halifax – The RCMP say provincial work safety officials are investigating after a man received serious burns while working at a golf course near Halifax.
Police say they were called to the Lost Creek Golf Course in Beaver Bank after a worker was reportedly injured.
The Mounties say a preliminary investigation has found the 50-year-old man was clearing brush when he caught fire after the accelerant he was using spread.
The man was taken to hospital with serious burns.
