Man dies in snowmobile crash

March 15, 2013, Killaloe, Ont. – A 47-year-old man is dead after his snowmobile crashed into a tree west of Ottawa.

Police say Robert Hass of Admaston-Bromley Township was driving with friends on a snowmobile trip last night when the machine crashed near the community of Killaloe.

They say paramedics and responding officers had to use motorized snow vehicles to get to the scene.

Police say Hass was pronounced dead at the scene.
