Officials investigating fire at Guelph scrap yard

May 29, 2019, Guelph, Ont. – No injuries are being reported after an overnight fire Tuesday at the Benmet Steel and Metal recycling yard. The call came in just before 1:30 a.m. and when crews arrived they found heavy smoke and flame coming from a large pile of scrap metal found within the compound.
