Fire investigators are still trying to determine if everyone got out safely. As many as six people may have been inside the home on Alexander Street when witnesses report hearing several explosions just before 10 p.m.
One man remains unaccounted for while a second man is being treated for burns.
A resident in the home says there was a huge blast that blew out windows and doors, making it difficult to find a way out of the fire.
Tenants say there were propane and acetylene tanks in the basement.
