Plymovent hosting inaugural firefighter appreciation day

May 21, 2024, Mississauga, Ont. — Plymovent is hosting an inaugural Firefighter Appreciation Day at its head office in Mississauga on June 14.

Plymovent, which manufactures vehicle exhaust extraction and industrial filtration products, is marking the day with a series of events and activities designed to honour firefighters and recognize their contributions to society.

“We are incredibly grateful for the bravery and commitment of our firefighters,” said David Kahlbom, a vehicle exhaust extraction specialist, in a statement. “Firefighter Appreciation Day is a time for us to come together as a community to show our appreciation and support for these dedicated individuals who risk their lives to keep us safe.”

Features of the event include recognition for local firefighters via a keynote speaker, a cancer awareness booth, and opportunities to interact with local firefighter charities.
