Police investigate N.S. fire fatality

Police say firefighters responded to the blaze on Malagash Road just after 3 a.m.

RCMP Const. Dal Hutchinson says the house was fully engulfed when officers arrived and human remains were found inside the residence.

He says the house was completely destroyed by the fire.

Police say the body has not been identified and an autopsy will be conducted.

Hutchinson says no one else was inside the home at the time and no other houses were damaged.

The cause of the blaze has not been determined, but Hutchinson says there is nothing to indicate the fire is suspicious.
