State of emergency declared due to hurricane

Sept. 21, 2010, Clarenville, N.L. - The Town of Clarenville has declared a state of emergency as Hurricane Igor approaches. Mayor Fred Best says rivers in the town are overflowing, flooding and washing out roads, and they have been told by Environment Canada that they may receive up to 100 more millimetres of rain.
