Teenagers arrested after fires hit abandoned buildings

RCMP say fire units responded Sunday to a fire in an abandoned barn on Highway 1 in Aylesford.

Police say while responding to the call they noticed another fire in an abandoned house a short distance away.

Both buildings were destroyed.

Police say a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old remain in custody.

The provincial Fire Marshal's Office is assisting investigators in determining the exact cause of the fires.
