Two bodies found inside burning car in Prince Edward Island

June 21, 2013, St. Felix, P.E.I. – Firefighters found two bodies inside a burning vehicle today near St. Felix, P.E.I.

RCMP officers and members of the Tignish Fire Department were called to a single-vehicle fire on Martin Road in the early hours of the morning.

Once the fire was extinguished, firefighters found the bodies.

The RCMP's major crime unit has been called in, along with the provincial fire marshal and the provincial coroner.

The identities of the dead are being withheld until relatives are notified.
