Veteran firefighters can take the heat: new study

Jan. 9, 2014, Ottawa - It may be cold out now, but a new study focused on Ottawa firefighters shows they can handle the heat. The study looked at the strain among older, more experienced firefighters, on the heels of findings that ageing can decrease someone's ability to work in hot environments. The Ottawa Sun reports.
