Volunteer departments tackle blaze

Volunteer firefighters from Cassleman, Embrun, Limoges, Rockland and St. Isadore worked a Sunday morning fire at the St. Albert Cheese Factory, said Fire Chief Aurele Constantineau. St. Albert cheese was established in 1894. Its retail store operates seven days a week but an Ontario Provincial Police spokesman said everyone safely evacuated. Photo by Mark Prendergast.
