Volunteers to staff six rural Halifax stations until fall

July 30, 2014, Halifax - Fire stations in six rural areas of the Halifax Regional Municipality will rely solely upon volunteers until late fall as the emergency service juggles manpower to fill gaps left by vacations, The Chronicle Herald has learned. The Chronicle Herald reports.
