Winnipeg firefighter zapped by downed power lines

July 23, 2013, Winnipeg – The head of the United Fire Fighters of Winnipeg says a city firefighter is lucky to be alive after being zapped by downed power lines during one of nearly a hundred calls crews were called to during the electrical storm that rolled over Winnipeg Sunday evening. Metro News reports.
