Arson suspected in fire at Nanaimo shopping centre

Jan. 14, 2020, Nanaimo, B.C. – An investigation into a fire at Woodgrove Centre in north Nanaimo has been turned over to police. Nanaimo Fire Rescue firefighters responded at about 1:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13, after a fire ignited in recyclables in a storage and maintenance area of the shopping centre.
