Calgary fire station to be replaced by modern facility

May 30, 2011, Calgary – Even though it was recently placed on the city's inventory of evaluated historic resources, South Calgary's Station 5 – the oldest working firehall in the city – is slated to be torn down once a new, modern station is constructed. The Calgary Herald reports.
