Edmonton Fire’s resources being stretched thin: fire chief

Dec. 16, 2013, Edmonton - Urban sprawl and rising call volumes are stretching Edmonton Fire Rescue’s resources, with an average of 52 people moving here every day. And Edmonton Fire Chief Ken Block says keeping pace with that booming growth will be his biggest challenge in 2014. The Edmonton Sun reports.
