The ability to spin 360 degrees and tilt up or down provides the user with the ability to aim the light’s beam where needed. The versatile TX-1 easily attaches to the Shield Hinge Bolts on EMS, SAR, and tactical helmets, or via industrial Velcro on most other helmets. The attachment was originally designed for AllMed’s latest AVC Helmet (www.allmed.net/catalog/item/3431 ).
This light’s breakaway design for safety permits quick removal for hand-held use when needed and minimizes damage from any potential impact. TX-1 runs on 2 CR2032 batteries and provides up to 24 hours of continuous light. Weighing 25 grams, the helmet light is also waterproof (six metres), fire and impact resistant.
