Grow op found after fatal Irishtown fire

Feb. 10, 2014, Irishtown, N.B. – One person is dead following a house fire in Irishtown, N.B.

Firefighters were called to the home on Communication Road around 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

The RCMP say a body was found inside the residence but an identity has not been determined.

Police say a marijuana grow operation was also found inside the house.

The cause of the fire has not been determined, but investigators believe it started in the kitchen of the house.

Police, the fire marshal and coroner are investigating.
