Lightning strike sparks New Glasgow house fire

July 9, 2012, New Glasgow, N.S. - Leah Johnston came down off her stepladder in a hurry Saturday afternoon when lightning struck a century-old apartment building across the street. Although not afraid of electrical storms, she had been counting off the seconds between flashes and thunder. The Chronicle Herald reports.
