Montreal launching new sprinker subsidy program

Montreal - In a bid to prevent deadly fires at senior's residences, the Montreal Fire Department is offering a new subisdy program for the installation of sprinkler systems. The $2 million program, which comes into effect Friday, covers up to 75 per cent of the cost of installation of a new sprinkler system or the completion of an existing system.
