Sept. 17, 2010, Fredericton – New Brunswick Premier Shawn Graham is promising to provide a $200 tax credit to volunteer firefighters to aid with their training.

The Liberal leader says if his government is re-elected, he would make the credit available for every volunteer firefighter in the province.

In a statement, Graham says the credit is the right thing to do to help men and women who volunteer to keep their communities safe.

Graham did not say how much it would cost to carry out the commitment.
