Bridgetown deputy fire Chief Mike Lockett says the two-storey house was fully involved when they showed up around 2:15 a.m.
The effort included firefighters from Annapolis Royal, Port Lorne, Lawrencetown, Middleton and Nictaux.
Renovations were underway at the house and no one was home when the fire broke out.
Lockett says the cause of the fire is unknown and the provincial fire marshal's office will investigate.
