One man dead after Belleville house fire

Aug. 17, 2015, Belleville, Ont. - The investigation into a fatal fire at a residence on Sunday morning is continuing between the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal, the Belleville Fire Department and the Criminal Investigations Branch of the Belleville Police Service. Thirty-eight-year-old Roger Saunders was rescued from the residence by firefighters shortly after the fire broke out early Sunday morning. Saunders was transported to Belleville General Hospital by paramedics where he was later pronounced deceased. The Belleville Intelligencer reports. | READ MORE
