Today marks the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks in the U.S. that killed almost 3,000 people, levelled the World Trade Center buildings and sent planes crashing into the Pentagon and into a field in Pennsylvania. McGuinty says it's particularly important to recognize the difference that first responders make. There were 343 firefighters killed when the World Trade Center collapsed. McGuinty shook hands with the firefighters and flipped some flapjacks at their pancake breakfast, and he will later attend a Sept. 11 firefighter memorial in London. Progressive Conservative Leader Tim Hudak and NDP Leader Andrea Horwath are also attending 9-11 memorials today.
