Police warn of alleged thief impersonating firefighter

April 1, 2014, Toronto – A man is entering Toronto-area businesses with claims of being a member of the Toronto Fire Services checking on fire extinguishers, smoke detectors and sprinkler systems, before stealing from staff and customers, police warned Monday. Global News reports.
