Saskatoon firefighter suffers minor injuries rescuing man from overpass

June 18, 2020, Saskatoon – A Saskatoon Fire Department battalion chief is recovering from cuts he got while rescuing a person threatening to jump off an overpass. Firefighters, including the battalion chief, were dispatched Tuesday to the overpass shortly before 8:15 p.m., following a call from an off-duty fire inspector who reported seeing somebody at risk.
