Vancouver council gives fire and police departments millions to address budget shortfalls

Nov. 28, 2023, Vancouver – Vancouver city council voted Tuesday to give the Vancouver Police Department and Vancouver Fire Rescue Services (VFRS) millions of dollars to make up for budget shortfalls related to payroll expenses.
