Vaudreuil-Dorion calls for arbitration with firefighters

Aug. 4, 2015, Vaudreuil-Dorion, Que. - An ongoing contract dispute with Vaudreuil-Dorion firefighters could be heading to arbitration. Last week, city council tabled a resolution endorsing a request to Quebec’s Minister of Labour to refer the case to arbitration and mandated its legal advisor Gérard Caisse, from the Bélanger Sauvé law firm, to continue representing the city in the file.
