Freezing your Assets: Cryogenics

Cryogenics refers to the behavior of metal material under extreme heat conditions once it has been cryogenically treated. For example, cryogenically treating brake parts via extremely cold temperatures causes the brake parts to react differently and ultimately last longer and result in less down time. Chris Dennis, chief mechanical officer with Vaughan Fire Rescue Service, will share the process, outcome, and examples.
