Windsor chief to propose mandatory sprinklers in new builds

Nov. 1, 2013, Windsor, Ont. – With more fires causing more injuries and deaths per capita than anywhere else in the province, Windsor fire Chief Bruce Montone will propose the city require the installation of sprinkler systems in all new homes or have smoke detection systems directly connected to the department. The Windsor Star reports.
