Canadian Firefighter has a new look!

We are thrilled to soon introduce to our readers the first fully redesigned issue of Canadian Firefighter – the magazine written by firefighters, for firefighters.

We think you’ll be as happy as we are with the clean, modern look. We’ve added more visuals to breakdown key information, and a news page to share the latest industry happenings.

Even our logo – Canadian Firefighter – has been updated to better reflect our content.

Stories in the new issue are all about training, including our cover story on four of Canada’s top training weekends. Editor Laura King interviews the organizers behind FireCon, Northwest Fire Conference, Training in Paradise and FDIC Atlantic, to learn what makes them stand out.

Our in-depth story is a scientific defense of the 2 1/2-inch hoseline from Jeff Cowen.

The training focus continues with columns on conference dos and don’ts from Arjuna George, chainsaw safety tips from Tim Llewellyn, and a RIT-ready workout from Sherry Dean.
