Jan. 9, 2013 – Fort Garry Fire Trucks has completed the construction of its new manufacturing plant in Rosser, Man. The state-of-the-art facility, which measures about 4,645 square-metres (50,000 square-feet), is located in the CentrePort Industrial Park, adjacent to the Winnipeg airport.

"We needed additional space and we wanted to change our manufacturing layout for our product mix," said president Rick Suche. "We've increased plant size by about 20 per cent."

The facility will be equipped with cutting edge manufacturing and finishing equipment, and will also house the companiy’s rubber manufacturing division, its parts sales branch, and its service division.

"[The new plant] has a much better production flow for our current production line," Suche said.
