Ottawa construction worker seriously injured in wall collapse

April 21, 2014, Ottawa – A man is in serious condition in hospital following a construction accident in Ottawa.

Ottawa fire officials say construction materials fell on top of the man's head when a brick wall collapsed.

They say the worker suffered a severe head trauma.

Firefighters and paramedics tried to revive the man, performing CPR at the scene and continuing en route to hospital.

Police say they are investigating along with the Ministry of Labour.
